Show Dogs in Pastel

Bert Tormey, noted for his artistic diversity in sculpture and painting, has been a recipient of the Evelyn Monte Award for Best Painting of a Brussels Griffon at the Fourth Dog Fanciers Art Competition. Mr. Tormey's portrait commissions have also included many well known AKC judges, handlers, breeders and prominent exhibitors.

The pastel portrait of John McCartney, of Fraja EC Amstaffs, with the American Staffordshire Terrier Ch Fraja EC Winning Ticket, was formerly an all breed handler, and is now an AKC Rep.

The show dog pastel of the Cavalier King Charles is Corneel, owned by Janet York. Corneel now retired from the shows, was the number one Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the American Kennel Club the length of his entire dog show career.
